26 months

Dear Skelly,

You are 26 months now- and a few days but at this point you know how awesome I am at posting on this. Your poor sister will probably end up with a year update when she's two. Anyway, this is all about you and you are all about you right now too- which makes us laugh....and cry.
You are talking up a storm- you still repeat everything we say to you- and your go to response is always a resounding "ok". You have started to reply "I love you Momma/Daddy" when you are told how much we love you. You say, "ok, I cute" whenever we tell you how handsome or smart you are. You love to somersault all over the place. You just did it one day- We think you learned it in school but it makes you so proud and happy to bounce back up and yell, "TA!!"
You love breakfast and particularly love to eat with your girlfriend at school, Lex. It's one of the only ways I can get you out of the door in the mornings. Your favorite foods are cheese, milkshakes and fruit. Pretty typical since that's all I ate while I was pregnant with you.
You can count now- you don't actually count things most of the time but love to count out loud. You generally count in this order
2, 3, 4, 6, 6, 6, 6, 8, 9, 10!!! I'm not sure what you have against the number 1, 5, or 7.
You sing Ba Ba Black Sheep very well.
You love school buses, fire trucks, Elmo and the garbage truck.
You are simply amazing my Skelly-O-Taur.

25 months

Two Years

Happy Birthday my sweet boy. It has been an amazing two years. Here's to many many more. We love you more than we ever knew possible.

How far along? 21 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: not sure- Dr. visit soon-- I feel like a baby hippo

Maternity clothes? gotta love 'em

Stretch marks? so far so good

Sleep: hit or miss

Best moment this week: J can feel the baby now

Movement: lots

Food cravings: cheese

Gender: team pink

Labor Signs: nope

Belly Button in or out? hovering

What I miss: beer

What I am looking forward to: snuggling this little bundle. Was holding my neighbors granddaughter who is about 8 weeks old and she was just precious. They said she only sleeps during the day- so that part I am not looking forward to.

Milestones: Skelly pee peed in the potty!!! TWICE!

Big Weekend!!
TWO pee-pee's in the potty!!!! What a big boy! After he went J and I immediately launched into a ridiculous song/dance routine and Skelly asked for a reese...Apparently Reese's Pieces are the key to potty training in this house.
So proud of my BIG BOY!!!

19 weeks

Maternity clothes? For awhile now

Sleep: getting better

Best moment this week: Just heard about Malian-Can't wait to meet her!

Movement: no outside movement yet but lots of wiggles

Food cravings: grilled cheese

What I miss: rest

What I am looking forward to:. that baby smell

Milestones:. Skelly hums the ABC's now and occasionally shouts out the random letter.

Week 18

How far along? 18 weeks 6 days

Stretch marks? still doing ok

Sleep: such weird dreams- I can't shut my brain off either!

Best moment this week: Found out what Baby M is....

Movement: still little wiggles...I have to slow down more so that I can enjoy her

Food cravings: nothing too strange...eating a lot of pastina

Gender: TEAM PINK!!

Labor Signs: no

Belly Button in or out? in

What I miss: sleeping on my stomach

What I am looking forward to: feeling those little feet and tush moving around

Milestones: Skelly is still working on the whole sharing thing...this will end up being a big wake up call for this big brother. I'm hoping that he ends up embracing it but he is such a momma's boy that I am worried for him a little. He is sick this week so extra clingy- poor baby. What kid gets sick in the summer, arghh...
