The Momma has been defeated

Baby Skelly broke his four day STTN run last night. Ugh I wish it was more consistent. It's so hard to plan to hang out with the husband or make a nice dinner when you don't know if you'll be running up and down the stairs all night. I feel so bad doing this Ferber thing. I am doing a modified version of it by 3,3,5,5,7,7,10 min intervals and giving the paci, but not picking up. It's still the saddest thing in the world to hear your little baby crying for you and knowing that if you just picked him up he would stop. I have to keep telling myself that I'm teaching him good sleep habits, he's learning how to soothe himself, that I don't want to have that 3 year old that is in our bed every night....but it's just really, REALLY difficult.
