snowy days

Mmmmm.....waffles and bacon and a snow day from work. Can life get any better than this? Was reading the bump this morning and there was a post about a woman who let her 9 day old baby cry it out for 8 hours.....I can't even make it 90 seconds with Skelly...I tried to do a modified ferber method for a little while and the hubs would go to soothe him so he wouldn't think he was being fed, but that hasn't been if effect for awhile now. Skelly got an awful cold and I was panicked about him for a few days. Thank goodness he's feeling better now but it was a few really awful nights. I definitely read too many of these message boards, especially one where a baby died because he choked and had been congested....I've been sleeping on the aerobed in his room with him and cannot bear to hear him cough.....More news to come if we conquer the sleeping giant.
